Sharon has lived in Maryland all of her life where she started riding at the
age of six. Showing followed in the hunter and jumper divisions and
eventing, as well as 25 years of foxhunting.
Following college, she worked on Capitol Hill for 10 years as a lobbyist,
while riding and teaching in her spare time. Currently, she owns and
operates a training facility, Chimney Hill Farm, in Upper Marlboro with her
husband David.
Her first horse purchased with Cesar's help, Madison, won third and fourth
level high score awards in the 70's. Her current horses, Cedrick and Fondi
(both Hanoverians who she found in Germany with Cesar) are presently
competing at PSG and fourth levels respectively. Both have earned numerous
high score awards.
