Dave and Taunia Reed Taunia rode before she walked and started showing at 8 yrs old - involved w/Pony Club and 4-H, trained and showed hunters. Both of Dave and Taunia's sons showed in walk trot and Josh, the youngest showed hunters and played polocrosse in Pony Club. The Reeds moved to Carolina Beach, NC to "retire" but after 5 years moved to Virginia Beach to open a business. Being horseless for 10 years was unbearable so they found a mare in foal to Riverman on the internet. The search for land started and Wellington Farm was built in 2005 with the goal of being a first rate facility with world class horses. Dave doesn't ride but is supportive in every aspect of the farm, including watching paint dry, sometimes for days at a time!
