Julie McKean and Kevin Kohmann

Kevin Kohmann was born on May 5th, 1988. He started his riding career at the age of 12 on the backs of his mother's pony. One zear later he rode for a Young Rider trainer, Ingeborg Gallow from Rohlsdorf, Schleswig-Holstein. After a short time he was a regional champion and trained to second level. With the beginning of his 15th year, he started a course of study for horse training, care, and management with the renowned rider, Dieter Brun, an Olympian in cross-country and a German National Champion in Dressage. After 3 years, he had earned manz placings in Dressage through 4th level as well as in Jumping. Later, in 2006, he finished his studies, becoming a licensed 'bereiter'. With great fortune he found a dream oportunity to go to America and work for a known and respectable rider, Dr. Cesar Parra. He considers his time with Dr. Parra an assest to his training for Dr. Parra has trained with all the known and respectable trainers which Kevin looks up to.
