Julie hails from Camden, Maine and is attending Rollins College in Winter Park, FL where she plans to major in German. She and her partner, Stravinsky, a nine year old Danish Trakehner, started training with Dr. Parra in 2005. In 2006, Julie and Stravinsky rode at the NAJYR Championship, winning Team Gold, Individual Silver and Freestyle Gold in the Junior Division. In addition, they were FEI Junior Team Champion at the Region 8 Championships. Julie was the 2006 recipient of the American Trakehner Association Samauri II Award.
Julie’s goals are to compete at upper level dressage as well as breed and train sport ponies for FEI Pony Dressage. Julie’s hobbies include playing the harp, art, photography, discovering unique music and going to concerts.
