Chain of Success at 2005 Dressage at Devon. In order
to be successful at dressage competitions one needs professional
management and knowledge from the bottom to the top. Breeding quality
horses, based on proven bloodlines combinations, keeping the horses
healthy from foal to mature sport horse, and professional training
of the horse and coaching of the rider are critical steps in the
management to success in dressage. See

2005
Dressage at Devon. Ranking third was Dr. Cesar Parra and his
Selle Francais licensed stallion Galant du Serein (by Apache d'Adriers).
Just back from a three month training and showing tour in Europe,
Parra was able to display the improvement he made aboard his massive
bay stallion. Galant is fresher on the leg and swings more through
the body, though the horse sometimes lacks electricity in the piaffe
and passage. With 66.458% Parra landed a third place in a field
of 15 competitors. See

2005
Dressage at Devon. Finishing second were Dr. Cesar Parra and
Leonberg, a Zweibrucken licensed stallion by Lonely Boy xx. Leonberg
was fresh, active and electric throughout the test and showed a
brilliant passage, but in the canter work he was not always totally
balanced and collected. Nevertheless, the horse is a real talent
for the future and with 67.458% he placed second in the Grand Prix
for Special at Devon. See

Dressage at Devon. Dr. Cesar Parra and his Selle Francais stallion
Galant du Serein ranked third. With a Latin inspired kur to music
based on songs by Shakira, Parra kept up a high tempo in his test
flowing from one movement into the other, though the horse was not
at all times completely straight in the body. Riding for Colombia,
Cesar scored 72.75% and landed a third place. See
